Head Start is a free 1-day course in English aimed at giving international students a greater chance of finding a student job or internship during their study i Denmark. This job search course, which is a physical class at our location in Valby, is for students, who are newcomers to Denmark and are at the beginning of their BA / MA study:
You will learn more about analyzing a job ad, structuring your CV and cover letter, networking through social media, how to present yourself professionally and more.
You can apply if you:
· Have a valid residence permit
· You have just started a BA or MA fulltime
· Reside in Greater Copenhagen
When you register, you must:

When you register, you will be added to a waiting list, as soon as we have approved your application, you will receive an e-mail from us. Please note, the course is intensive, and you must be prepared to actively participate and we expect that you prepare the homework/E-learning before class.
Group forum:
Please note that this course utilises a closed online group forum for each class which allows the instructor and your immediate classmates to share homework, documents, pose questions and/or discuss. As such, in this forum, your instructor and immediate classmates will have access to your name and e-mail address, so documents can be sent to you. If you do not wish for your classmates to see your personal information, it will unfortunately, not be possible to take part in the course as it is not possible to anonymize participants in the group forum.
Photo on Social Media:
When you take part in the online course, we may take screen prints of participants and these may be used in our social media channels. We use social media for branding of our projects and participants.
Personal Data:
When you register for a Business House Copenhagen course, you accept that we register and collect the personal information provided to us, including information in your CV, Cover Letter applications and attachments to same including video presentations, photos, etc. The City of Copenhagen is required to comply with current Danish and EU legislation regarding personal data protection and as such, any personal data that we receive will be treated with confidentiality and only for the purposes described herein.
Purpose of Data Collection: Personal data collected before, during and after the course is used to administer our relationship with you, including advising and responding to your inquiries as well as matching you with relevant internship, salary subsidy, regular job and/or workshop opportunities.
